Good apartment but cheap soundproofing

I really like my actual unit aside from my upstairs neighbor. It all started when they thought it ok to be playing the drums in their top floor unit, at all different times of day. The impact noise from their heavy steps drives me up the wall. They also drop things a lot. They either have loud drawers or a rolling chair that they move in across the bedroom. And i believe i heard the repeated movements from a treadmill the other day. Im paying too much to have my peace disturbed. The lease has a provision that 80% of the flooring should be carpeted/rugged if hardword floors, but good luck getting that enforced. It’s been a decent run, but im ready to wave my white flag.

Quiet Luxury Building

I've lived in the building since it opened in 2021. Its very quiet, and the living spaces are large. Large kitchen spaces and spacious closets. We have a small outdoor space which is nice. There is assigned covered parking in a locked garage which is safe. The staff keeps the building very clean and watches out for our packages even though there is no doorman. The maintenance staff is very nice and helpful too.
